Malayan Tapir The trunk of an elephant, the body of a pig. Yes! This rare animal is called Kotapir. So far, four species have been discovered, the largest of which is the Millionaire Tapir.

It is found in Southeast Asian countries namely Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Burma, Vietnam.

They are two to two and a half meters long, three feet high and weigh about 320 kilograms.

His body is black and his back is a big white color.

When they sleep, other animals often think of their white color as a rock.

Their noses are like the trunk of an elephant which helps them to pick leaves, bushes, fruits etc.

and breathe while swimming.  Their jaws are very strong so they can attack anything, including humans, when they feel scared.

They like to live in forests near water.  They choose their large region and prefer to live in it. For this purpose, they make the border of their area through urine or they identify their area by pressing and sniffing the ground with their feet.

Their sense of smell is very sharp.  There is also hearing, but the eyes are very weak.  They graze from evening to night and rest in the late afternoon.
The reproductive process begins in the summer and the female gives birth to a baby after about a year and two months of pregnancy.

The baby's body is black and has long white lines on it that take on their present shape seven months later.  Fruit enthusiasts cannot digest the seeds, so during their jungle walks, they sow seeds through their dung and grow in the forest.
In addition to hunting leopards and leopards, they are also the food of the locals.  Due to their rarity, their international market is also high. You can estimate that it is worth 00 5,500 in the Thai market.  They are in danger of extinction and their hunting is now banned.
Their average age is thirty years.
